Instagram port for the desktop environment (Unofficial release)

Remember that trick with a browser? The one that emulates user agent of a mobile browser... Well, there you go. The app that does it automatically and lets you experience the social network on a desktop.

Just a simple HTML wrapper built with Electron.

If you have any problems running the snap package, you can also try a debian version I built recently:

Use the command line and type:

snap connect:instagramport:camera :camera

To check if the interface was assigned successfully:

snap interfaces :camera

*Supports Direct message feature

*Lets you upload pictures

*Filters, Boomerang and other fancy features are not yet supported.

*New message notifications are not supported yet

It has a screen positioning bug, so will not be able to upload stories unless you'll set the position of your screen to vertical
